Honiton Pottery Collectors' Society - Poole and Honiton Pottery

posted 4 Feb 2016, 03:23 by Bill Crumbleholme

The Honiton Pottery Collectors' Society for collectors of Crown Dorset Art Pottery from Poole and Honiton Pottery is aiming to create an audio-visual resource for future generations to use to learn how the pottery was produced and decorated from 1905-1915 at Poole and from 1910 until its closure in the 1990s at Honiton. To this end we are collecting material to include in our social history record.

We will be most grateful if any of your readers have any memories of the potteries that they are willing to share with us either as an ex-worker or one of their relatives, even as a resident for whom the presence of the pottery had  some significance.

We will be able to provide in-depth information to support any article that you may wish to write. Please visit our website hpcsoc.com for more information about our interests.

The smallest snippet of information, photographs or unusual or special pots will be of interest.

Please ask your readers to send anything that they can contribute to me at the above address by the 25th of February, by email to hpcsoc@hotmail.co.uk, or by phone to 079354379297.

Thank you in anticipation,

Joan Allen (Secretary)
