| The Dorset Pottery Group are a group of likeminded potters
and ceramicists who join together for many shows, exhibitions and craft
events. The group organises Studio visits, Raku Firings, workshop sessions
and other activities. It is planning the construction of a wood fired kiln and another public art installation, after the success of the the Bridport Millenium Ammonite |

| This dedicated website has been set up to serve group members
and their fans and admirers. It consists of archives of past events and
news of forthcoming events, plus a list of members and pages showing their
details and images of work (although this is in the process of being updated
so there are some broken links and images - for which we apologise! For
more information or to highlight a broken link contact Bill Crumbleholme
at bill@upweypotters.com. Occassionally members are invited to join in with a bulk clay order from Spencroft Ceramics, the last order was placed in November 2009 - take a look here Members and Guests are invited to "Fire & Ice" at the new Portland Arts Centre. This will feature bonfire firings of pottery on 28th February - the opening day - and 28th March - the closing day. Members are invited to submit pots to the flames of these bonfires.
